PestPac alternative: when a franchise stack is too much

PestPac fits large, process-heavy groups. Smaller crews often need less software and a faster first week.

PestPac is the heavy desk

PestPac (WorkWave) is the name a lot of established pest companies grew up with. It is built for offices that already have process: service types, billing rules, and people whose job is the software. If that is you, an “alternative” post should not talk you out of a system that already prints the week.

It becomes the wrong size when a 6-person company inherits “we should get PestPac” from a peer with 40 trucks. You spend the quarter in setup. The vans stay on paper. The quarterly accounts are still in a spreadsheet because nobody finished the conversion.

When PestPac is correct

Multi-branch or franchise expectations. A bookkeeper who lives in that world. Integrations you already paid for. A contract you are mid-stream on. Do not rip it out for a blog post.

When you want less stack

You need properties, frequencies, Today on a phone, and invoices. You want to import a CSV and book tomorrow. You do not want a project manager.

Spestly is that smaller pest-only product. We are new. Desk $49 / Route $99 / Fleet $179. Trial is seven days. We will help early companies import. We will not pretend we have PestPac’s depth in reporting or industry tenure.

Honest gaps on our side

No live sat-nav. Card pay-now needs your Stripe Connect. Desk has no van. We are not a marketplace. If those are deal-breakers, keep looking — including staying on PestPac.

If the pain is “the stack is too much for the week we actually run,” try the loop: import, diary, complete, invoice. What the software needs is the checklist. FieldRoutes is the sibling conversation.
